I have always loved, and always been identified with, airplanes. Since early childhood, I knew that I would someday fly. I realized that ambition on my 16th birthday, March 11, 1967 when I flew solo in a small 2 seat Cessna 150 for the first time. since then I have flown over 22,350 hours in everything from Piper Cubs to Boeing B-777s. My current assignment as a captain for United Airlines takes me to London, Tokyo, Frankfurt and Bangkok. I also do one domestic trip to Washington D.C.
Flying for United Airlines has been a priviledge for me and I will enjoy doing it for the 7 1/2 years I have left.
Flying, however, is not my whole life. My wife of 34 years, Peggy is my greatest gift. We have four wonderful kids, Jason, Shannon, David and Daniel. Their spouses Stephanie, Nate, Garrettson and (soon) Danielle are also blessings in our lives. In addition, Nate and Shannon have a beautiful daughter Makayla, (5) and David and Garrettson have Thomas (8), Chase (2) and Hayden (4 Mos). I'll see if I can get some photos up for you on the next page..
